cl-postgres software package provides Low-level client library for PosgreSQL, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.10 (Yakkety Yak) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cl-postgres
cl-postgres is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cl-postgres package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cl-postgres *
You will get with cl-postgres package name, version, architecture and description in a table
